This zine was made across unceded Gadigal, Wangal, Burrumattagal, and Bidjigal lands. We recognise Bla(c)k art, media, and storytelling as the oldest surviving and continuous practice on earth. In Redfern, we deeply respect the long, staunch history of Black Art and media, from the National Black Theatre in Redfern, Koori radio, and ‘Identity’, an initiative by the Aboriginal Publications Foundation and a magazine that documented community, art, and local history. We acknowledge Bla(c)k, Indigenous, and Brown culture around the world as the roots of the first hardcore scenes and music, from sound to mosh.
